VMware vRealize and OpenStack: A Side By Side Look

There seems to be great confusion in the market around VMware & OpenStack. The reality is that VMware can actually provide a DefCore compliant OpenStack based IaaS solution in addition to the popular vRealize Suite. Choosing between these two IaaS solutions from VMware fundamentally comes down to the required consumption model presented to the end consumer of the private cloud.
