Everybody's being told that you have to be worried about all these things phishing and ransomware and spyware and adware and backdoor trojans and chat bots and computers and viruses and bring your own devices and mobile attacks and IoT threats. There's all these different threats you're being told to fear. And what happens is that everybody starts to see all of these threats equally and trying to fix it all at once. What happens? You end up applying defenses disproportionately to what the risk really is. What they're not telling you, what the the guides are and the leadership's not telling you is that 2 or 3 of those threats are bigger than all the other bubbles added up all together.
