Redis Enterprise Cache can add value to real-time analytics and reporting by extending the JDBC driver and providing connectors with Spark and Kafka. Redis also released an open-source library called NoSQL, which extends the Trino Project and integrates with Redis Enterprise SQL for querying capabilities. It supports counts, mins, maxes, averages, ordering, and SQL compliance. However, joins are still a challenge since Redis is a NoSQL database. Redis can seamlessly integrate with Trino, which is deep into the data mesh world, and is supported everywhere. If a platform is not supported, Redis released an integration that performs the same magic of Trino and is supported through ODBC by frameworks like Power BI or MicroStrategy. Redis Enterprise Cache provides efficient caching and querying capabilities, making it a valuable tool for real-time analytics and reporting.
