As the sole provider of public transportation services in Idaho’s Boise Metro Area, Valley Regional Transit (VRT) realized it could not afford to keep losing connectivity around town. For the utmost connectivity and flexibility, VRT installed a Cradlepoint in-vehicle router in each bus, with an external antenna mounted on the roof. VRT now manages its network remotely through Cradlepoint NetCloud Manager.

Consistent connectivity ensures that passengers can use VRT's app to monitor where buses are in real time, and whether they're running behind or ahead of schedule. With more accurate data in a more timely manner, VRT is able to better serve its customers.
