XConnect Terms of Use

Welcome to XConnect, an integration solution provided by Truth in IT, designed to streamline the connection between Zoom webinars and the Truth in IT Webinar Directory. By using XConnect, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting your Zoom account to XConnect, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use XConnect.

2. Description of Service

XConnect enables Truth in IT clients to:

  • Synchronize webinar details from Zoom to the Truth in IT Webinar Directory.
  • Automatically list and promote webinars, expanding their reach to a highly targeted IT audience cultivated by Truth in IT.
  • Streamline registration workflows by securely transmitting registrations from the Truth in IT Webinar Directory directly to Zoom.

3. User Responsibilities

When using XConnect, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate webinar details in your Zoom account to ensure proper syncing.
  • Maintain the security of your Zoom account credentials.
  • Use XConnect in compliance with all applicable laws and Zoom’s Terms of Service.

4. Data Handling and Privacy

  • XConnect accesses webinar details (e.g., titles, descriptions, dates) from your Zoom account to display them in the Truth in IT Webinar Directory.
  • Registrant data is securely transmitted from Truth in IT to your Zoom account via OAuth.
  • XConnect does not access, store, or process your Zoom participant, user, or chat data.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • Truth in IT is not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party platforms, such as Zoom.
  • XConnect is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
  • Truth in IT is not liable for any loss or damages arising from the use of XConnect.

6. Termination

You may stop using XConnect at any time by disconnecting your Zoom account:

  • Log into Truth in IT and navigate to the Webinar Connections section.
  • Click Disconnect next to the Zoom logo.
    Truth in IT reserves the right to terminate your access to XConnect for violations of these Terms of Use.

7. Modifications to Terms

Truth in IT may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of XConnect after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We recommend reviewing these terms regularly.
