XConnect: Zoom Integration Guide

Welcome to the XConnect documentation page! Follow these step-by-step instructions to connect your Zoom account with XConnect, use the integration, and remove it if needed.

1. Adding XConnect to Your Zoom Account

To start using XConnect, follow these steps to connect your Zoom account:

  1. Log into Truth in IT:

  2. Navigate to Webinar Connections:

    • Go to the Webinar Connections section in your account dashboard.

  3. Connect to Zoom:

    • Click the Connect button next to the Zoom logo.
    • You will be redirected to the Zoom authorization page.

  4. Authorize XConnect:

    • Review the requested permissions, which allow XConnect to:
      • View your webinar details.
      • Add registrants to your webinars.
    • Click Allow to complete the connection.

Once authorized, XConnect will begin syncing your webinar details to the Truth in IT directory.

2. Using XConnect

After connecting XConnect to Zoom, you can start using its features:

  • Automated Webinar Listings:

    • XConnect will automatically retrieve your webinar details from Zoom (e.g., titles, dates, descriptions) and list them in the Truth in IT directory.

  • Streamlined Registration:

    • Registrants who sign up via the Truth in IT directory will be securely added to your Zoom webinar attendee list.

  • Managing Webinars:

    • Ensure your webinars are correctly scheduled and updated in Zoom to reflect changes in the Truth in IT directory.

3. Removing XConnect from Your Zoom Account

If you need to disconnect XConnect, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Truth in IT:

    • Navigate to the Webinar Connections section.

  2. Disconnect Zoom:

    • Click Disconnect next to the Zoom logo.

  3. Remove XConnect from Zoom:

    • Log into your Zoom account and go to Admin > Apps.
    • Select XConnect and click Remove.
